Server Discovery
List your Discord server on the free RestoreCord Discovery server list. See how listings are ranked by votes and searched, and what your server page shows.
Discovery is RestoreCord's public Discord server list, where people browse, search and vote for servers to join. Listing your server is free on every plan, and there is no paid ranking. Every server also gets a public server page with its description, products and reviews, whether or not it is listed.
What the Discovery page shows
The Discovery page has two tabs:

More results load as visitors scroll. Products only appear on the Products tab while their server is listed on Discovery.
List your server
Link your Discord server
Only servers linked to a Discord server can be listed. If you haven't added your server yet, see Create a server.
Turn on Discovery
On your server's Discovery tab, switch on Discovery. The listing fields stay greyed out until it is on.
Fill in your listing
Add a description of up to 191 characters, up to 10 tags and up to 5 categories. You can also add a website and products.
Save and check it
Click Save. View Discovery Page then opens your public server page. A new or changed listing can take a few minutes to appear.

How servers are ranked
- Votes decide the order. Visitors' votes set where your server appears.
- Ties go to the server that was listed earliest.
- No paid ranking. Your plan doesn't change your position, and you can't buy promotion.
- Reviews don't count. Your star rating and review count don't affect ranking. They show on your server page instead.
Voting
Visitors vote with the up and down arrows on a server's card. They need to log in with Discord first.
- Each Discord account has one vote per server.
- Clicking the other arrow changes the vote. Clicking the same arrow again removes it.
Turning Discovery off and saving deletes all of your listing's votes, along with its description, tags, categories and website. If you list the server again, it starts with no votes.
Search, tags and categories
Visitors search the Servers tab with 3 to 99 characters. A search matches your server name, Discovery Description, tags and categories. On the Products tab, a search matches product names, descriptions and tags.
- Tags show on your listing card (the first 3) and on your server page. They are single lowercase words, letters only.
- Categories help visitors find your server in search.
Use the words people would actually search for: the game, community or product your server is about. See Discovery Tags and Discovery Categories for how to add them.
Eligibility and hidden listings
A server appears on Discovery when all of these are true:
- Discovery is switched on and saved.
- The server is linked to a Discord server.
- The listing follows our rules. Listings that break them are hidden.
Turning Discovery off is the only way to remove a listing. Private Server hides the Verify button and asks search engines not to index your public pages, but it doesn't take the server off Discovery.
Your public server page
Every server has a free public page at https://restorecord.com/server/<server name or Discord server ID>, whether or not it is listed on Discovery. Discovery cards, product cards and View Discovery Page all lead here.

- The description is your Discovery Description, or your server's own description when that is empty.
- Leave a Review, Server Rating and Reviews only show when a feedback pack is assigned and the public feedback page is on. See Feedback & Vouches.
- With Private Server on, search engines are asked not to index the page.
- On Business and above, Custom Domain Profile also lists the server on your bot's custom domain homepage.

Reviews and vouches
Reviews come from a feedback pack assigned to your server. They appear on your server page and, if you turn on the Feedback Carousel, on your verify page. They don't appear on Discovery cards and don't affect ranking. To collect them, set up a pack and share your review link.
Verified badge
Servers that RestoreCord has verified as safe and legitimate get a badge on their Discovery card, product cards, server page and verify page. Apply with Request Verification under Verified badge in the Visual tab. RestoreCord looks for:
- An established, active community.
- At least 1,000 active members.
- Family-friendly content. Servers marked as NSFW don't qualify.
